We are a husband & wife team, just trying to make a bit of difference in the “pitbull situation” in California’s Central Valley.
Shelters are continuously beyond full, and pitbulls are one of the primary breeds.
Rather than have a pity party, and just feeling bad for all these poor dogs...we decided to have a Pitty Party.
We celebrate every time we are able to get a dog out of the shelter, and on to a forever home.
We are a "home-style" rescue versus a kennel environment.
To be clear, we do kennel our dogs, but only when unsupervised and at night.
When we are here to supervise, the dogs get the run of the property, they get to hang out with us in a home setting, whether it be relaxing, watching TV, listening to music, barking at the mailman, going for a walk, whatever sounds good that day.
Our facility is limited, so you will likely see about 4 or 5 adoptable dogs at any given time.
This isn't many by rescue standards, but we make a conscious decision to remain small, so that we can continue to provide the quality of care that we feel is our duty.
We have worked with a variety of local rescues for years:
We have served on committees, volunteered at rescues, fostered dogs in our home, networked & transported dogs to rescue.
We don't keep track of how many dogs have come through our care, because they're not numbers to us, they're success stories.
Suffice it to say, we have cared for

We don't keep track of how many dogs have come through our care, because they're not numbers to us, they're success stories.
Suffice it to say, we have cared for, and helped more dogs than the average person, and if we were counting, we know that we easily passed the century mark a long time ago.
We were always limited as to how much we could really do, we were living in town, in a standard residential neighborhood, and even though it was a relatively large lot, both city ordinances and neighbors were prohibitive of bringing in a whole crew of large bully breed dogs.
Approximately 2 years ago, we made a move, and moved out onto a ranch in Reedley.
The beauty of this move is that we gained the space, and moved out of city limits.
We're figuring out this rescue business as we go, and sometimes it's a bit by the seat of our pants, but we are learning, both from experience and from other rescuers and rescues that have been infinitely helpful with advice and recommendations.
We are proud to say that we are a registered

Donations through PayPal/Venmo are gladly accepted and appreciated, but we also appreciate social media shares, mentions, comments.
Words of encouragement go a long way, not every day in rescue is easy.
We have our ups and downs, but the good outweighs the bad, and it helps that we feel we are doing the greatest thing we've ever done.
It may not be easy, but its worth it.
Our team is growing by the day.
We are learning.
We are getting better at this.
We've learned the ropes.
