This absolute genius of a dog decided to walk up to our packing shed, which on any given day, smells like a mexican restaurant at lunch time, with all the employees heating up their lunches.
By the looks of her, this poor girl was HUNGRY, she was skin and bones when we found her.
Even in that condition, she was still friendly, and allowed me to leash her and load her up in the truck.
Given her overall condition, I went against my own better instinct, and took her into the rescue, even though we dont normally do high energy breeds...and she's been here for quite a while now (over a year)...that being said, she's an absolute doll, and we love her.
Mia is approximately 4 years old. When we found her, she was in pretty rough shape, she was losing most of her fur, had droopy teets, and you could see nearly every bone in her body. Since then, she's regrown a beatiful white/red coat, and gained some much needed weight. She loves belly rubs and her buddy Max.
Somewhere where she has room to run, and play with ALL of the stuffed animals, she adores murdering squeekies (on that note, no kitties for this girl).
She does like other dogs given proper introductions.
