Reno the wonder dog came to us from the City of Parlier, and he was in rough shape when he got here. He had a severe eye and ear infection, as well as a quail egg sized tumor on his abdomen, add a neuter surgery and some basic vetting, and voila, you have yourself a $2000 dog. Luckily through the donations of some very generous supporters, we were able to cover the vetting.
He's an older guy, but he's absolutely freaking adorable, he's just happy as a clam walking around like the little beefcake he is, even if his eye sight isn't the best.
He likes to lay under his bed vs. on top of it, and likes wrestling around with his furry friends.
He seems happiest when he has a companion that acts as a bit of a seeing eye dog for him.
Someone that will take a chance on Reno.
Reno does need eye medication on a daily basis, but he's very tolerant of having it applied, as long as he gets a tasty treat as part of the process.
