Please give us the most detailed responses you are able to. In some cases we get multiple applications for a specific dog, and your complete responses allow us to make the best match possible.
Ultimately the best fit for the dog is our greatest concern, and in order to be able to make that determination, more info is better.
So channel your inner Shakespeare, English Lit Majors, this is your time to shine. Baffle us with your literary beauty.
All of our dogs are fully vetted, spayed and neutered prior to re-homing. New owner will be provided with any pertinent vet records, as well as microchip information.
We don’t operate a rescue in an effort to make money, but vetting and feeding the dogs in our care isn’t free, we have structured our adoption fees accordingly.
Please note that we rarely have puppies in our care.
There are lots of rescues who specialize in puppies, we are not one of them.
Yes, they are adorable, but there are lots of adult dogs that need help just as much.
Plus, if we are being honest, cleaning up puppy poop is just not our favorite activity.
If you are looking for a Bully Puppy, we highly recommend Many Miles To Home Rescue (they're on social Media). They are a bully "nursery" rescue based in Oregon, and they specialize in saving pregnant momma dogs / nursing moms with puppies.
Adoption fees may vary depending on circumstance, but generally speaking we are just looking to cover the vet expense associated with spaying/neuter, rabies, and all vaccines.
Males are generally +/- $250, Females are generally +/- $350. (Spay surgery is more invasive, and therefore more expensive than neuter surgery)
*If you know of any local vets that will perform full vetting services at a more affordable rate on a regular basis, we would love their info. In the case of puppies, adoption fees may be increased by +/- $100 to attempt to recover some of the extra cost of puppy shots etc.
Ultimately, each dog's adoption fee may vary, based on vetting needs. Our Response to your application will include the specific fee for the dog you are interested in.
